Solicitor, Inhouse for ValueClick, Dublin office

Job Summary	As an integral part of the Company’s leadership and management, this position of Corporate Solicitor in Dublin, Ireland will assist in implementing the Company’s business initiatives and strategic vision. Reporting to the Finance Director, located in London, and will have regular and direct contact with other members of the Executive Leadership Team throughout our European offices in Paris, Munich, Madrid and Stockholm, as well as our General counsel located in the United State. This position will handle a wide variety of duties and responsibilities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities	• Provide legal oversight of US based, publicly traded company’s sales contracts and European operations based in the Company’s new Dublin offices • Will assist in corporate governance and maintenance • Counseling the Leadership Team on compliance, litigation, intellectual property and risk management issues • Ability to research issues and make effective recommendations to management • Staying abreast of legislation affecting the Company’s business and the on-line marketing industry in general • Develop rapor and excellent working relationships with all levels of Company management throughout Europe and the United States • Team player who is able to collaborate with both managers and our Legal staff in the US • Extensive experience in negotiating and drafting client sales and other contracts • Degree from Accredited Law School in Ireland, UK or the US • Licensed to practice law in Ireland required. • Licensed to practice law in the UK desirable. • Corporate Law background preferred • Experience with Labor law and regulations desirable • Estimated to require up to 20% travel to European offices in London, Paris, Munich and Stockholm • Estimated to require occasional travel to US offices in Westlake Village, CA once a year.
