Building an Online Community - One of the Best
Tonight I opened an email from Remo and was reminded how they were one of the first Australian companies to start building a community rather than a customer a long time ago.
In fact their slogan "The Community is the Brand" was ahead of its time.
Their website has always had interactive features, user-generated content (long before we knew the term UGC) and today contains a blog.
The insights and feedback that Remo has gained through this constant contact with his customer base would be invaluable in regard to future stock and product refinements and along the way members of the community felt valued (26,570 of them!).
So for inspiration on how you can build and nurture your community online it might just be valuable to revisit this old fav. for another look.
