Come and join us at the FED when Martin Dalgleish and Daniel Petre, Executive Chairman and Founder of netus, navigate the seven seas of Australian media. From ebay to e-learning, from Seek to Seven, from Foxtel to FetchTV.  And any other alliteration they can think of on the night. It promises to be a rollicking ride…!

Daniel is one of the recognised leaders in digital media, new media, convergence, or just plain ‘ole media.  Prior to netus, a technology investment company, Daniel founded ecorp (a subsidiary of PBL), who had major investments in ninemsn, eBay, Ticketek, Wizard Financial Services. He also spent nine years at Microsoft where he was MD APAC and VP of the Development Group in the USA.   He serves on the boards of several non-profit organisations including the Children’s Hospital Westmead, HealthInsite, The UNSW Foundation and The Federal Government’s eCommerce Taskforce and set up the Petre Foundation with his wife Carolyn in 2000.  Daniel has also written several books and was made an Officer in the Order of Australia (AO), for distinguished service to Australia.

Martin Dalgleish our host for this FED is well known to the media industry, having previously served on the Boards of Foxtel, Premier Media Group, Ticketek, ninemsn, Hoyts Group, PBL Media, Carsales, and a few others. Prior to his media career he was Managing Director of Optus Consumer division for five years.  He is currently Chairman of iSelect and a director or advisor to various media and technology organisations including the soon to launch FetchTV.
