Designer (user interface)

Our client is a world leading online travel company who’s suite of websites offer global accommodation, travel blogs as well as important travel information for their users. They are currently looking for an experienced designer with interface design experience to join their product team based in Sydney.
The Designer will develop and refine pages for SEO and PPC campaigns, as well as delivering reliable, user-centred customer experiences. We are looking for someone with strong business acumen, an eye for design and absolute passion for usability.
You will be relentless in measurement and testing to create user-centred customer experiences.
You will have:
- A minimum of 3 years design experience with an interface design focus
- Expert XHTML/CSS
- Excellent understanding of W3C web standards and accessibility
- Understanding of Photoshop/Illustrator and the ability to create assets
As the User Interface Designer you continually work to improve the existing site, online applications, as well delivering new functionality and features over time. You will also partner with Product Managers to identify and solve business problems and work closely with our in house IT department to deliver project objectives.
You will be involved with rapid prototyping of new features and functions as well as assisting product managers to design and execute test plans for improvements to our suite of web sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a User Interface Designer to join a young and dynamic team and become the champion for design and usability within the company.
