Eric Schmidt the CEO of Google tells us what to expect
Interview where Gartner ask the Eric Schmidt,CEO of Google, on what he thinks the web will look like in 5 years time! There is a lot of plain English here and some interesting points covered. When this guy talks about the future of the web you have to assume he well informed and we should listen.
He points out that searching UGC in real time will be Googles biggest challenge. We are entering the age of real-time search people. For me, this means the ability to find material that literally has just been published. Whats the impact on twitter and breaking news? How does impact the semantic web?
Full version 45 mins with a coffee thanks to Gartner
