Group Account Director

The Role

 

The Group Account Director is primarily responsible for overseeing the account management team and ensuring that all client work is delivered on time, on brief, and to the highest standard of quality.

 

Additionally, the Group Account Director is responsible for ensuring that client relationships remain healthy, that strong strategic value is provided to clients and that any issues are dealt with promptly and professionally. This includes ensuring that the volume and value of client revenue is maintained and grown.

 

Job Description:

Oversee the management of the day-to-day execution of digital marketing campaigns for assigned accounts and run the overall business relationship with these clients.

This will include:

  • Ensuring end-to-end management of clients’ digital marketing needs.
  • Delivery of the best possible standard of account management service.
  • Interacting with clients at a senior level to develop their digital marketing strategies and manage their digital marketing campaigns.
  • Analysing digital campaign results and providing strategic recommendations to drive improvements.
  • Contributing to the effective management, accountability and profitability of client accounts.
  • Developing and managing excellent working relationships with external clients and suppliers.
  • Recognising and developing opportunities to increase client revenue through the delivery of additional services and products.
  • Contributing to new business pitches.

Prerequisites 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years digital or email marketing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an account management role in an agency.
  • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple projects, clients and deadlines.
  • A dedicated work ethic and a passion for being an account manager.
  • Proven ability to manage a team of account management personnel.
  • Business and financial acumen and experience.
