Lead Motion Designer 50k, London based, Lead Motion Designer

Role (summary)
You will be heading up a rich media team specialising in the specification, costing, and production of interactive rich media and communications projects; or a talented senior equivalent looking to take your career to the next level.
You have a wealth of experience with a range of Internet-related technologies, ideally with multi-platform experience; a passion for design, movement and storytelling; and the desire to share your understanding with others within the agency and across the wider industry.
Key responsibilities
You are an original thinker who takes creative concepts and translates them into an animated and interactive visual format. You are fully conversant in all industry-standard design and animation packages including, but not restricted to, Adobe Flash. Your thinking extends beyond current established formats and allows you to imagine what is, and what will become, possible in interactive design.
You have a keen eye for design and motion. You are equally at home working and liaising with designers and developers, adept at pulling together the right team for the right job, and confident in your ability to own the execution of multiple creative ideas, from concept to delivery.
Required Knowledge and skills (essential)
Manage in-house, cross-disciplinary team
Liaison between creative, design and technical departments
Promote exciting new ideas, techniques and technologies within the agency to encourage industry-leading work
Represent the agency to the wider world at international festivals and trade events
Define the best possible executional approach and style to deliver, and enrich, the creative
Team-leading and direction of in-house designers and animators, and 3rd party specialists
Mentorship of junior team members
Provide accurate and robust production estimates
Provide sound advice on the feasibility of creative ideas
Hands-on experience of working with live action footage, up to and including the planning of shoots for interactive delivery
Hands-on experience of large-scale, international campaigns requiring multiple iterations and localisation
ntimate and extensive knowledge of all major 3rd party ad servers (Eyeblaster, Tango Zebra/Doubleclick, Flash Talking)
Demonstrable and consistent track record of having produced award-winning creative executions
Excellent, up-to-date skills in Flash (timeline- and/or scripted-animation, ActionScript and XML), After Effects and Premiere (or similar industry-standard video editing tool)
Excellent Photoshop and Illustrator skills
Quality assurance
Troubleshooting and problem resolution
Other Knowledge and skills (desirable)
One or more of the following:
Design and/or coding for run-time Flash 3D (Papervision3D, Away3D)
3D modelling and/or animation using industry-standard design tools (3D Studio Max, Maya, Cinema 4D or similar)
Audio editing and sound design
Experience of working on mobile and/or iTV platforms
