Obviously most of us think that bullying in any form is a completely unacceptable way of behaving and one which would definitely get you a timeout in the school playground. However all too often cyber bullying goes unaddressed and unrecognized in the sometimes anonymous world of social media especially among industry peers. SOCIAL MEDIA As a social media marketer and digital PR specialist, I find it all too easy to get lost amidst the infinite conversations between my industry peers about the subject of social media etc. It sometimes feels as though I've lost sight of the forest for the trees - a bit like working for a newspaper dedicated to writing articles about working at a newspaper. Seans reaction: This is exactly the kind of bosh that demonstrates newspaper's desperate lack of understanding about social media. To say that Twitter doesn't create communities is ridiculous. No one brand creates a community anyway, they simple facilitate them. And Twitter is amazing at facilitating discussions across large communities of people.
